Markets

A visit to the Manning Valley is not complete without going along to one of the region’s colourful markets.

Bargain hunters will be in their element as they spend the weekends trawling through the array of goodies at the bustling markets in our seaside and rural villages.

You will discover a different market every weekend with each one having a unique vibe and atmosphere. Stallholders sell everything from fresh local produce and handcrafted goods to delicious homemade sweets and chutneys.

Whatever your preference, we’re sure you’ll find one you like and take home a hidden gem.

The Hub Market

The Hub Market is held at the Taree Showground every 3rd Saturday of the month. This is the biggest market in Taree and surrounds, and has both outdoor and undercover areas.

At the Hub Market you will discover pre-loved books, fresh produce, plants and seedlings, homemade jam and gingerbread, bric-a-brac and food stalls.

The Markets are organised by the Lions Club of Manning River Inc. All funds raised go to Lions Foundations, charitable organisations and local groups.
