A visit to the Manning Valley is not complete without going along to one of the region’s colourful markets.

Bargain hunters will be in their element as they spend the weekends trawling through the array of goodies at the bustling markets in our seaside and rural villages.

You will discover a different market every weekend with each one having a unique vibe and atmosphere. Stallholders sell everything from fresh local produce and handcrafted goods to delicious homemade sweets and chutneys.

Whatever your preference, we’re sure you’ll find one you like and take home a hidden gem.

Bent on Tuesday Farmers' Market

Come on down to the Bent on Tuesday Farmers’ Market, held every Tuesday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

This is a real farmers’ market where all items are locally sourced, seasonal and homemade.

Everything sold is grown free of chemicals and all livestock is raised ethically. Items include avocados, homemade jams, pickles and chutneys, real free range eggs, seasonal fruit and vegatables as well as old breed pasture raised pork. If you haven’t tried old breed pigs, pasture raised, you’re in for a treat.

Black Head Bazaar

Black Head Bazaar is known as the best market in the Manning. It is held on the 1st Sunday of each month from September to May in Wylie Breckenridge Park at Black Head.

This market has an extensive variety of stalls selling fresh farm picked fruit and vegetables, handmade clothing and jewellery, homemade cakes, slices and biscuits. Food and wonderful fresh roasted coffee are available.

The Black Head Bazaar is a community market organised and operated by Hallidays Point Landcare Group.

Burrell Creek Markets

The Burrell Creek Markets are held bi-monthly on the 2nd Sunday of the month at the Burrell Creek Hall.

With a variety of stalls including plants, vegetables, candles, papercrafts, soaps, table runners, tea towels, pot holders, scarfs, slippers, gloves, tea pot cosies, books, bric a brac, pickles, cakes and jewellery.

Live music will entertain you while you dine on a yummy breakfast or indulge in morning tea.

Cundletown Markets

Cundletown Markets are held bi-monthly on the 2nd Sunday of odd months at the Cundletown Community Garden, Main Street, Cundletown. A friendly little market, where you can find treasures, plants, home made goods, coffee and more. Fresh produce is available straight from the garden too.

Come for a visit. There is often activities for the kids too.

Harrington Markets

The Marine Rescue Markets at Harrington are held in John Oxley Reserve and are very popular with both visitors and the locals alike. The market has a wide variety of stalls selling crafts, produce, clothing, plants, and much more. All proceeds from the Markets go towards financing our Marine Rescue Boats and operations.

Johns River Community Market

Johns River Community Market is held on the 2nd Saturday of each month with additional markets held on a Monday of the long weekends at Easter, June and October & January.

A very popular market that has been in operation for in excess of 25 years and has a large range of stalls, old wares and homemade items. Excellent food is available for sale, including our legendary Devonshire Tea/Coffee, which is provided by the Trustees of the Johns River Community Hall. Nabiac Farmers Market is held on the last Saturday of each month except December. This farmers market is the largest local produce market in the Manning Valley. The Hub Market

The Hub Market is held at the Taree Showground every 3rd Saturday of the month. This is the biggest market in Taree and surrounds, and has both outdoor and undercover areas.

At the Hub Market you will discover pre-loved books, fresh produce, plants and seedlings, homemade jam and gingerbread, bric-a-brac and food stalls.

The Three Brothers Farm Produce Market is held on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month at the Johns River Community Hall (during Winter the markets only operate on the 2nd Saturday of the month).

The market provides seasonal produce from the Three Brothers region (the three mountains of North Brother, Middle Brother and South Brother on the NSW Mid North Coast).
