Walks & Cycling

With 9 National Parks and Reserves, it not surprising that the Manning Valley has some great walks and cycling tracks to explore.

Here are a couple of our faves:

Newbys Creek & Cave Walk

A short five minute walk up the creek from Newbys Creek Road in Coorabakh National Park, you will discover the fascinating Newbys Cave. The cave has a large overhanging rock formation, making a natural shelter in the creek bed. The walk continues further upstream amongst lush ferns and sparkling creek waters. Allow 30 minutes.

Diamond Head Loop Track

The Diamond Head Loop Track offers scenic coastal views across Crowdy Bay National Park. Starting at the Diamond Head Camping Ground and continuing to Indian Head, the well-formed track will guide you through hills and forests with breathtaking lookouts. At the southern end of the walk you will get views of the captivating eroding cliff arches. 4.8km, allow 2 hours.
